How it Works.
Transparency.
Your pet (family member ) is going to Mexico. The only way we can get your pet spayed at an affordable-cost (and very quickly) is if we take them to one of our trusted veterinarians in Juarez. We developed a good relationship with these veterinarians through our volunteer work in rescue.
The United States and Mexico view pets as possessions, unfortunately. We are not a commercial business. In order to have dogs/cats/animals go across the border we need to own them. Your family member's guardianship and ownership will temporarily be mine or my partner's.
Preparation.
Your family member will need to be microchipped and vaccinated (rabies, dhpp - 1 week from spay/neuter) for their own protection.
[please visit animal rescue league for a microchip/registration $25]
Your family member will need to be healthy! No fever, no symptoms of any kind.
You will fill out a form, make the suggested donation (includes the money we have to pay the veterinarian for spay/neuter) and set up the dates for drop off/pick up.
Owners need to provide a state-issued identification that matches their utility bill (no cell phones) or car insurance. Something to prove residency.
